Great stay in a cozy vibe

Super comfy place! The breakfast was legit, way better than other spots, and the staff were super chill. It’s a bit noisy if you’re near the stairs, but my room was fab, clean, and the bed? So comfy! Parking can be tight, but I felt my car was safe in the garage.

Narrow and steep garage entrance could challenge larger vehicles. Breakfast inconsistencies can mess up a morning—raw croissants on one morning were a disappointment. Navigating stairs with luggage is a hassle for some due to the old building design.

The breakfast spread was a delightful feast—think buttery pastries and creamy yoghurts! Plus, being just a stroll from the old city means you can easily hop over to L'Homme Tranquille for some tasty local fare.

The stairs were a bit of a workout for those of us with big suitcases—best to take the lift and tackle the luggage outside! But really, it just added to the charm of the place.

What shines and what doesn’t

The staff seemed exceptionally happy to be at work , and the room was spotlessly clean with a real bath.

Noise from adjacent rooms can be quite distracting during peak hours!!! The small room sizes make even basic movement a challenge, especially when unpacking luggage!!! Parking garage is too tight for larger vehicles, leading to frustrating maneuvers!!!

The Hotel Le Charleston impressed me with its convenient location, just a short walk from the train station and town center. The room, a Standard Double Room, felt clean and well-maintained, with comfy bedding that made for restful nights. I particularly enjoyed the lovely breakfast—a mix of eggs, cold meats, cheeses, pastries, and cereal options that catered to various tastes. The small outdoor patio was a nice touch, perfect for unwinding with a drink after exploring the city. the parking garage was a challenge, quite tight, making it unsuitable for larger vehicles. on one morning, the breakfast service was inconsistent, requiring pre-orders, and my croissants were undercooked. The lack of a mini fridge in the room would also be a downside for those wanting to store drinks or snacks. despite these small hiccups, the value for money was good, and the service was always friendly and accommodating.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! The staff was super friendly and helpful, making breakfast enjoyable with plenty of options. We loved relaxing on the outside patio after a day of exploring the city. Easy walks to local eateries and the city center made it convenient.

The only downside was the parking garage, which was a bit tight—we had to maneuver carefully with our larger vehicle.

Absolutely loved the vibe here with stylish decor and a lovely breakfast that left us feeling satisfied! We really enjoyed the cozy sun terrace for relaxing and the charming courtyard for a peaceful moment. Just a heads up, the stairs can be a bit tricky with heavy bags, so maybe take advantage of the lift instead! 😄
